12 June 2012: World Day Against Child Labour
12 June 2012 is World Day Against Child Labour. This year’s World Day will highlight the work that needs to be done to make the Roadmap for achieving the elimination of the worst forms of child labour by 2016,adopted by the international community, reality.
The International Labour Organization launched the first World Day against Child Labour on 12 June 2002 to focus world attention on the urgent need to eradicate child labour. The International Labour Conference, which is currently taking place in Geneva, will mark World Day Against Child Labour.with special activities.
