Delivered under Skill-Up Lebanon (Phase 2) project – a joint effort of the ILO and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation – the new training programmes aim to improve the acquisition of market-relevant skills and increase employability of Lebanese and Syrian trainees.

A total of 40 Syrian and Lebanese women completed training programme in agri-food processing. The progrmme combined vocational training with topics on entrepreneurship and self-employment, and it was coupled with pre-enrolment career orientation and post-training support services to improve knowledge, skills, and professional readiness of graduates to facilitate their integration in the labour market and provide with much needed incomes.
