Workers who live and work on farms in remote areas in Jordan find it difficult to reach vocational skills and training centres. Accessing training facilities has become even more challenging for those workers due to restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A mobile station is bringing training sessions to farm workers at their place of work and helping them apply their taught skills on the job, in various occupations, such as grafting and pruning. The initiative, which is implemented by the ILO, under the PROSPECTS Partnership, in collaboration with the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Association, is supporting hundreds of Jordanian, Syrian refugee and migrant workers.
