Developing skills to achieve decent work

The ILO launched reports on skills needs in two key sectors of Jordan’s economy. The reports, by the ILO’s Skills for Trade and Economic Diversification (STED) in Jordan project, shed light on the situation of the Jordanian pharmaceutical sector and the food processing and beverage sector from a skills and labour market perspective. This video examines some of the challenges the two sectors are facing in terms of skills mismatch and looks at how the ILO intervention could help narrow some of the existing gaps.
