HIV and World of Work: Legislating to mitigate HIV/AIDS at work in Jordan
This policy brief is based on the findings of research conduced by the ILO in 2011-2012 on the extent to which Jordanian legislation and practices conform to international standards pertaining to HIV/AIDS and the world of work.
The research consisted of a desk review of national legislation (covering the Labour Law, the Regulation on Public Service Work, the Social Security Law nd public health regulations), and tructured interviews with relevant takeholders and people living with HIV.
