Integrating ILO Entrepreneurship Programme “Know About Business” in Vocational High Schools & Community Colleges in Jordan

The project falls within the national priority of reducing poverty and youth unemployment and facilitating young Jordanians’ entry to the labour market by fostering an entrepreneurial culture amongst youth. The project seeks to achieve this by pilot testing the ILO entrepreneurship education programme “Know About Business” in selected community colleges and vocational high schools. Upon completion of the pilot-testing phase, an evaluation will take place to ascertain the potential for integration in Jordan’s national curricula.

Representatives from international agencies and Jordan’s Ministry of Labour discuss methods to integrate tools from existing career guidance manuals in order to strengthen the capacity of employment services in communities Syrian refugees.
