Webinar: Labour rights of youth in Mongolia

The webinar is co-organized by the ILO and members of the Mongolia Decent Work for Youth Network under the aegis of the UN Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth.

The webinar provides a platform for dialogue among the members of the Mongolia Decent Work for Youth Network to explore how to promote awareness and action on labour rights of youth in Mongolia, especially with a view to promote the transition to the formal economy, in light of the revised labour law.

The webinar aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Gain improved understanding about the labour market challenges for youth in Mongolia, including rights at work
  • Inform about key areas of the revised labour law that are relevant to youth, including young workers in the informal economy
  • Take stock of current efforts and good practices of promoting rights at work for youth in Mongolia
  • Explore priorities, ideas and potential action to promote awareness and action on labour rights of youth in light of the revised labour law
