Training on ILS Reporting

Trade4DW project and EU Budget Support Project, both funded by the European Union, are organizing a series of training on application and reporting of ILO conventions which implementation reports are due in 2021/22.

Mongolia has ratified 21 ILO conventions including the all eight fundamental conventions of the ILO and two Governance conventions. Reports of fundamental and governance conventions are due in every three years, and technical conventions in every six years.

Purpose of the training is to understand better the CEACR Comments, and prepare a quality report to respond the inquiries. Members of the National Tripartite Sub-Committee on the Applications of ILO Conventions and Recommendations including representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Mongolian Employers' Federation, Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions, Mongolian Maritime Administration, General Agency for Social Insurance, General Agency for Labour and Social Welfare Services, General Agency for Specialised Inspection, Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and other relevant organizations, are participating in the training on ILS Reporting. There are total of six trainings planned this year.

  • 25 May 2021 - Application and reporting of C103 and C183
  • 31 May 2021 - Application and reporting of C155 and C176
  • Sep/Oct 2021 - Application and reporting of C167
  • Nov 2021 - Application and reporting of C138 and C182
  • Nov 2021 - Application and reporting of C29 and C105
According to Article 22 of ILO Constitution, each of the Members agrees to make an annual report to the International Labour Office on the measures which it has taken to give effect to the provisions of Conventions to which it is a party. These reports shall be made in such form and shall contain such particulars as the Governing Body may request.

14 May 2021 - Introduction to ILO Supervisory Mechanism and the Tripartite Consultation Convention C144 

The first session of ILS Reporting training was organized explaining ILO's regular supervision of the application of ILO standards in linkages with ILO Convention on Tripartite Consultation Convention, C144.
