Final Workshop on Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning plus Project Conclusion Meeting successfully held online

During 9 and 10 December, the ILO project ‘Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning in China’ successfully organized the Final Workshop on Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning plus Project Conclusion Meeting online under the circumstance of the COVID-19. Around 160 participants attended the Workshop to enhance their understanding of core skills, green skill development and training of professional apprenticeship trainers. Participants from the government, sectors, enterprises and TVET institutions also shared key takeaways from project piloting and outlooks in the next phase during the Project Conclusion Meeting.

On 22 June, the ILO project ‘Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning in China’ successfully organized Expert Workshop on the Adaptation of ILO Quality Apprenticeship Guide for Practitioners (the Guide) in Tianjin. Around 20 national experts in vocational training and apprenticeship participated in the workshop to present adaptation frameworks and have discussions on the further development of the adaptation, in order to make the Guide more applicable based on the current implementation of China New Enterprise-based Apprenticeship Program
