ILO/China Partnership Programme supports ToT training in Hospitality/Tourism sector in Cambodia and Registration starts now

TOT Programme on Food/Beverage Services, Organized by Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia and ILO-China Partnership Programme, is Open for Registration



H.E Pak Sokhom, Secretary of State and Chairman of HoKa (Hospitality Kampuchea) Steering Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Mr. Yutong Liu, Project Manager and Coordinator of ILO/China Partnership Programmet, presided over the opening ceremony of the Dissemination Workshop of Hoka Training of Trainer Program for Food and Beverage Services in Siem Reap, which will take place from 21-26 February 2022. This training program is supported by ILO/China Partnership Programme.

More than 60 participants attended this dissemination workshop, representing HoKa Streeing Committee, provincial departments of Tourism, Swiss Contact, UNIDO, Siem Reap Human Resources Club, the Young Chefs Association, Trainers, Evaluators, and Tourism Professionals.


H.E Pak Sokhom emphasized that this dissemination training course is an important step in disseminating national skills standards throug Training of Trainers. Through this workshop, tourism professionals and stakeholders will gain an in-depth understanding of the detailed training plans and training curriculum from ASEAN Trainers.

This upskilling programme aims to improve competencies of tourism workforce in Food and Beverage Services in building forward better in Siem Reap as a start, and further contribute and support Cambodia’s road map on restoration plan and promote Cambodia Tourism during and post Covid-19 crisis.  160  tourism professionals will benefit from this TOT programme and HoKa training model is expected to be disseminated widely to tourism operators in Cambodia.
