TRIANGLE in ASEAN Myanmar Project Advisory Committee Meeting
TRIANGLE in ASEAN has been operational in Myanmar since September 2013. To establish a governance body for the programme’s activities, a Project Advisory Committee (PAC) was organized which meets on an annual basis.
The functions of the PAC are to provide strategic direction to the project, develop and approve the annual project work plan and monitor progress towards objectives. The PAC is attended by TRIANGLE in ASEAN main stakeholders including Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, Labour Exchange Officers, Myanmar Overseas Employment Agencies Federation, Workers' organizations and civil society organizations. Other relevant stakeholders include different ministries whose coordination and commitment can ensure that migration is safer and more able to contribute to the development of Myanmar.
