Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the 3 consultant positions assigned under the project of “Workplace Compliance Through Labour Inspection Guidance and Social Dialogue (WPC)” which is implemented by the ILO Office for Türkiye in close cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye – Directorate of Guidance and Inspection.

Taking into consideration your field of academic background, we are reaching out to you to seek if you are interested in applying to one of the below consultancy positions under the aforementioned project :
  1. Consultancy for “CONDUCTING AN ANALYSIS OF NON-COMPLIANCE WITH REFFERENCE TO NATIONAL LABOUR LEGISTLATION AND INTERNATIONAL LABOUR STANDARDS”. Please click for ToR
  2. Consultancy for “PREPARING A REPORT ON THE ROLE AND FUTURE OF LABOUR INSPECTION AND GUIDANCE IN THE FUTURE OF WORK AND IN POST COVID PERIOD”. Please click for ToR

  1. A copy of any academic and\or professional work such as thesis, research paper, article, presentation etc. on labour inspection, occupational safety and health, labour policies, decent work, impact of COVID to working modalities, International Labour Standards, etc.
  2. Your personal CV including past relevant experience in similar activities.
Application deadline will be 17 Nov 2023. 
 
The working language for the attached terms of references will be English and Turkish, therefore the candidates are expected to have excellent English writing and speaking skills.
 
Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be invited to an assessment interview as part of the process.

The ILO Office for Türkiye is seeking expressions of interest from consultants to conduct Business Analysis to Standardize Labour Inspection Actions and Workflows for the “Workplace Compliance Through Labour Inspection Guidance And Social Dialogue (WPC) Project” funded by EU.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written test to demonstrate their ability to visually map a process based on a case study.
