ILO and ISKUR continue to join forces for women’s employment
“Promoting Women's Access to More and Better Jobs” Project to be implemented by International Labour Organization (ILO) and Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) in 2019-2022 aims to support women who wish to participate in the world of work

Scheduled to run for 2019-2022 as a continuation of the previous phase under the “Gender Equality at Work Portfolio” of the ILO Office for Turkey, the project “Promoting Women's Access to More and Better Jobs” aims to support women who wish to participate in the world of work and increase the number of women working under decent work conditions.
In the framework of the cooperation protocol, finalised by the contributions and participation of all relevant units of ISKUR and signed by Mr. Numan Özcan, Director of the ILO Office for Turkey, and Mr. Cafer Uzunkaya, General Director of ISKUR, the objective is to implement and monitor Turkey’s first-ever Action Plan on Women's Employment and Local Action Plans prepared in the previous phase.
Planned for implementation in the provinces of Ankara, Bursa, Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli and Konya, the Project also aims to enhance ISKUR’s technical capacity, step up services that promote women’s employment, and effectively implement Active Labour Market Policies to support job-seeking women.
