Social protection for all proves indispensable for both responding to the challenges and productive growth. To this end, ensuring decent work opportunities and a social protection floor for all, means that no one is left behind.

Transition to Formality Programme (KİGEP), the flagship scheeme of the ILO Office for Turkey, implemented jointly with the Social Security Institution, continues to provide social protection for more employees to realize their full potential with social benefits while also supporting employers.

KİGEP is implemented under the project “Promoting Decent Work for Syrians under Temporary Protection and Turkish Citizens”, financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through the KfW Development Bank and implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Turkey, in coordination with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

The Project “Decent Work Opportunities for Refugees and Host Communities in Turkey” funded by the US Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (USPRM) provides partial support to the KİGEP.
