The ILO is seeking to recruit a service provider (firm) to support the design and development of a multi-country monitoring, evaluation and knowledge learning system for the “ProAgro YOUTH: Support to integrated agribusiness hubs in Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar and Malawi” project.

Youth unemployment and underemployment is a significant and growing problem in Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar and Malawi, particularly in rural areas. ProAgro YOUTH represents the vision of the consortium, led by the International Labour Organization (ILO), of engaged collaboration with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), private and public sector leaders, and youth to enact systemic labour force and industry change in the rural economy, resulting in measurably improved youth economic opportunities in the evolving agribusiness sectors of Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar and Malawi.

The objective of the assignment is to support the design and development of a multi-country monitoring, evaluation and knowledge learning system to ensure that the ProAgro YOUTH project and its partners implement the project’s cross-cutting monitoring, evaluation and learning component in an effective, efficient, integrated, coherent and consistent manner meeting the requirements of the project development partner and ILO.

Are the 34 Working Days supposed to be distributed among the team members (34 in total) or should the team work for 34 days?

Answer:
The total number of working days for this assignment (34 days) includes the total combined level of efforts (working days) from all the team members. As mentioned in the ToRs, technical proposals may differ from this indication in which case an explanation should be provided.
