The first PWG meeting was held at 28 August 2017, The Thingaha Hotel (Nay Pyi Taw) and the main objective was to choose one export priority sector for employment creation from international trade in Myanmar. At the inception workshop, the participants from 2 working group had selected one export priority sector, that were pluses & beans sector and garment and textile sector. Because of the short project time frame (about 2 years), to implement ILO sector programs, garment & textile sector was selected as export priority sector of Myanmar.
