Time limit for filing an application for review
As part of the amendments to its Rules that were adopted on 9 May 2023, the Tribunal introduced a time limit for filing applications for review of its judgments.
An application for review must now be filed within 90 days following the public delivery of the judgment concerned (Article 6(5) of the Rules).
The President of the Tribunal may, upon request, extend or reopen this time limit. This may be appropriate, for example, where the application for review is based on the discovery of new facts on which the applicant was unable to rely in the original proceedings.
