  1. Information Sharing Session on SKILLS KSP Platform and YouthForesight Knowledge Facility

    As part of its efforts to advocate for knowledge and capacity building on employment-related issues, the ILO Employment Policy Department has developed two major knowledge platforms: the Skills and Lifelong Learning Knowledge Sharing Platform (SKILLS KSP) and the YouthForesight knowledge facility. ILO EMPLAB and SKILLS jointly organize this information session to introduce the platforms and activities around them.

    Soft Skills as new skills will have no powerful impact on their achievement in the working world unless they are supported by a Growth Mindset. Young workers having a Growth Mindset will be more successful in job competition than their counterparts with a Fixed Mindset.

    This year’s symposium focused on the follow-up to the Global Call to Action for a human-centred recovery from the COVID-19 crisis that is inclusive, sustainable and resilient. Towards this aim, it reviewed the available evidence and discussed policy approaches to assist ILO constituents in their efforts to promote labour market recovery and structural transformation processes that will shift economies to a new and better normal.
