Support for Ukraine recovery−Introducing the ILO service offer 2022

This document presents the service offer of the ILO for contributing to Ukraine Recovery and Reconstruction through decent work promotion. Based on the presence of the ILO in Ukraine since 1993, the paper specifies the technical service offer of the ILO for an early recovery of Ukraine focusing on mitigating the impact of the war against Ukraine on employment, social protection, rights at work, and social dialogue.

New trade union services
New mobile application protects workers’ rights in Moldova
08 November 2022
The ILO supported the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) to launch a mobile application at the end of September, 2022 enabling trade union members to report workers’ rights violations to the unions and the State Labour Inspectorate. Within two weeks, about 400 users downloaded the application.

Malawi agreed on a voluntary basis to become an Alliance 8.7 Pathfinder country hence committing itself to move faster to reach SDG Target 8.7, through accelerating efforts, adopting new approaches and collaborating with others. It becomes one of 26 countries to attain such a status.
