    Support for Ukraine recovery−Introducing the ILO service offer 2022

    This document presents the service offer of the ILO for contributing to Ukraine Recovery and Reconstruction through decent work promotion. Based on the presence of the ILO in Ukraine since 1993, the paper specifies the technical service offer of the ILO for an early recovery of Ukraine focusing on mitigating the impact of the war against Ukraine on employment, social protection, rights at work, and social dialogue.

    New trade union services

    New mobile application protects workers’ rights in Moldova

    08 November 2022

    The ILO supported the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) to launch a mobile application at the end of September, 2022 enabling trade union members to report workers’ rights violations to the unions and the State Labour Inspectorate. Within two weeks, about 400 users downloaded the application.

    Provincial Fisheries and Manpower Offices of West Java Province join forces to secure decent work at fishing sector

    The ILO’s Ship to Shore Rights South-East Asia Programme supports the effort taken by the Provincial Manpower Office and the Provincial Marine Affairs and Fisheries Office of West Java to create a synergy in joint inspection onboard fishing vessels.

    Local will never go out of style: ILO supports the textile industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina to offset the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic

    The European Union-funded ILO project EU4Business Recovery provides financial and technical assistance to 29 textile companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina supporting women entrepreneurs, young people and other vulnerable workers. With this support, the textile companies managed to grow and create jobs even during the pandemic.
