Field Visit to Senegal for ILO’s development partners
On 17 – 20 April 2018 ILO's development partners were invited to a field visit to Dakar to experience how the Decent Work Agenda is being promoted and implemented in Senegal
The field visit responded to one of the action points agreed in the RBSA meeting of 7 November 2017, and builds upon the successful experience of the 2015 field visit to Zambia and the 2017 field visit to Jordan which was considered by all participants as extremely useful exercises that allowed them to better understand ILO operations in practice, including in its interaction with local stakeholders and international organizations. Senegal was selected in consultation with RBSA development partners, given their strong interest in understanding how Decent Work is promoted in the country.
