Events and meetings

    Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, and the ILO are organizing a National Conference on Green Jobs on 24 and 25 June 2010 in New Delhi.

  2. Roundtable discussion - Infrastructure/Construction Sector Skills Development Challenge

    18 June 2010

    The discussion will focus on key issues and challenges in skills development for the unorganized workers in infrastructure/construction sector.

  3. HIV/AIDS training for Education Officers of The Central Board of Workes Education (CBWE) at Hooghly, West Bengal

    8 - 9 June 2010

    The ILO HIV and AIDS project in collaboration with The Central Board of Workers Education (CBWE) will be organizing a training of Education Officers of CBWE on HIV and AIDS in Hooghly.

  4. Skill Building Workshop for Mainstreaming Consultants of State AIDS Control Society on Workplace Interventions and Public Private Partnerships

    The ILO HIV/AIDS project in collaboration with CBWE will be organizing a training of Education Officers of CBWE on HIV/AIDS in Vishakapatnam.

  7. Inauguration of Training Programme on Engraving on Brassware in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India

    24 April 2010

    The ILO is partnering with Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India on Skills Development Initiative in Clusters. An inauguration of the Training Programme on Engraving on Brassware is being organized by Kaushal Vikas Samiti, the implementation committee of SDI at local level in Moradabad. Participants would include representatives from government departments from National, State and local levels, local representatives of trade unions and employers organizations, institutions and other civil society organizations.

  9. Refresher Training on HIV/AIDS for trade unions in Construction Sector
