  1. Integrated policy response on employment and social protection in the context of COVID-19 crisis mitigation and recovery, supported by social dialogue

    1 October 2019 - 31 December 2022,

    Due to this project the capacity of constituents to implement international labour standards on employment (Convention 122) and social protection (Convention 102, Recommendation 202) through social dialogue and design and delivery of integrated employment and social protection policies will be increased.

  2. “Partnerships for Youth Employment in the Commonwealth of Independent States”

    1 March 2018 - 31 December 2022,

    The technical cooperation project, financially supported by the PJSC LUKOIL and implemented by the ILO, seeks to improve the effectiveness of youth employment policies and programmes in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan to establish a framework for regional cooperation and knowledge sharing on youth employment.

  3. Inclusive Labour Market for Job Creation

    1 December 2017 - 30 June 2023,

    Improved labour market institutions that encapsulate and/or have the capacity to develop legislative and policy frameworks, as well as deliver services, which will lead to a well-functioning labour market that generates decent work opportunities.

  4. Applying the G20 Training Strategy: A Partnership of the ILO and the Russian Federation (Phase 2)

    5 December 2016 - 30 June 2021,

    The ultimate goal of the project is to strengthen national Skills Development systems, policies and strategies to enhance employment opportunities for both women and men. In particular the Project will address a number of key challenges that the TVET system is currently facing on a policy and institutional level.

  5. Support GSP+ beneficiary countries to effectively implement ILS and comply with reporting obligations

    24 November 2016 - 31 March 2021,

    Being a beneficiary of the EU GSP+ preferential tariff scheme, Armenia has committed to put into action 27 core international conventions on human and labour rights, environmental protection and good governance, including the eight ILO Core Conventions. The Project Support GSP+ beneficiary countries to effectively implement ILS and comply with reporting obligations is supporting Armenia in the promotion and application of ILO fundamental Conventions, and in addressing the comments made by the ILO supervisory bodies on the application of these fundamental Conventions, particularly of the Labour Inspection Convention, 1947 (No.81).

  6. From Protocol to Practice: A Bridge to Global Action on Forced Labour (Bridge Project)

    1 September 2015 - 31 March 2023, Budget: US$ 18,745,138 - GLO/15/26/USA, PER/15/50/USA, NPL/15/53/USA, MYS/16/50/USA, NER/17/50/USA, UZB/20/50/USA

    This project aims to support global and national efforts to combat forced labour under the 2014 ILO Protocol and Recommendation on Forced Labour.

  7. Third Party Monitoring on Child and Forced Labour in Uzbekistan

    1 April 2015 - 30 September 2021, Budget: US$ 7,203,798 - UZB/15/02/WBG

    The ILO has cooperated with the Government and social partners of Uzbekistan on child and forced labour since 2013. The parties agreed to an ILO monitoring on child labour in cotton harvest during September - October 2013. In addition, Uzbek constituents and the ILO initiated cooperation on the application of Convention No. 105. The following year, in 2014, monitoring of child labour was undertaken by national teams, while discussions with the ILO on forced labour issues continued. Both items were included in the Decent Work Country Programme signed in April 2014.

  8. Support for Implementation of the Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) in Uzbekistan

    1 December 2014 - 31 December 2020,

    The project supports all the main components of the DWCP of Uzbekistan, including strengthening social partnership in Uzbekistan for the realization of fundamental principles and rights at work, fostering decent employment opportunities and improving working conditions and social protection.

  9. Improved Compliance with Labour Laws in Georgia

    31 December 2013 - 31 March 2020,

    The project supported the Government of Georgia to enforce labour laws and International Labour Standards (ILS), supported workers’ organizations to improve their capacities to represent workers’ rights and fostered national tripartite social dialogue.
