The 22nd National Public Employment Service Offices (PESO) Congress was held on 25-27 October 2022 in Pampanga. The congress featured a plenary session on "New approaches in labour market information". Mr Phu Huynh, Technical Specialist on Employment and Decent Work of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific presented on PESOs as key actors in collection, analysis and dissemination of data on supply and demand for skilled workers.
The three-day congress included the setting of direction for the PESOs, a series of plenary sessions with selected PESO Managers, and the awarding of PESOs in the Bayanihan Service Awards, among others.
