ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project 3rd Project Advisory and Review Committee (PARC) meeting

Minister Romeo Sema of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) led the third Project Advisory and Review Committee (PARC) meeting of the ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project wherein members expressed their strong support and appreciation of current initiatives.

The ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project hosted its third Project Advisory and Review Committee (PARC) Meeting.

MOLE Minister Romeo Sema led the meeting as PARC Chairperson.
Minister Romeo Sema of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) covering the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) led the meeting as the PARC Chairperson.

Ms Ma Jennylyn Aguinaldo, Project Manager of the ILO Japan Water and Sanitation Project together with her team, presented updates. She also reported on project achievements, ongoing construction work, and challenges to be addressed. Members from different ministries expressed their strong support and appreciation of the project as well as their insights and proposals to further enhance project implementation.

MOLE Director-General Mr Dong Anayatin presented the accomplishments under the joint ILO-MOLE Community Emergency Employment Programme (CEEP).

MOLE Minister Sema introduces the new ILO project on reducing child labour in BARMM.
MOLE Minister Sema also introduced and presented the new ILO project on Achieving Reduction of Child Labour in Support of Education to PARC members.

An expanded PARC members and a revised Terms of Reference of the group was unanimously adopted towards the end of the meeting.
