The ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project and the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) distribute wages and benefits under the Community Emergency Employment Programme (CEEP) in Maguindanao.
MOLE distributed allowances to 75 beneficiaries, mainly displaced workers in the informal economy under the programme. The distribution happened in Barangay Damalusay, Tual and Upper Idtig, Paglat Municipal Hall, Maguindanao.
MOLE implemented the CEEP under the ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project, with funding from the Government of Japan to reach out to workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, mostly those in the informal economy. It was successfully initiated in BARMM, and will become part of the government’s regular programme this year.
