During the last decade women's labour force participation grew substantially in Pakistan. This gave a reason to hope that the newly obtained economic autonomy for women would also bring greater gender equality in the country. In order to determine how far these expectations are being realized, it is necessary to monitor labour market trends through gender sensitive lens.
