This report, which contains an overview on child domestic labour in Asia as drawn out of available literature, serves as a background document for the participants of the tripartite Asian meeting on Action to Combat Exploitation of Child Domestic Labour, to be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The report is based on field visits to Thailand, Indonesia and Nepal where information was gathered for the country-specific case studies that can be found at the end of the paper.
