Viet Nam’s SME consultants standardized using SCORE Training

In order to recruit, standardize and introduce enterprise consultants for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as required by the Law on SME Support and Circular No. 06/2019/TT-BKHDT, TAC has cooperated with the SCORE to develop the TAC SCORE programme. The programme aims to improve capacity and standardize the pool of consultants for SMEs to comply with ILO standards through Trainings of Trainers for SMEs in the north.
The SCORE Programme's training and consulting activities focus on the sustainability of the business improvement process by linking productivity and quality of the workplace as well as optimizing internal resources of enterprises, especially human resources.
“This is a great base for us to build the pool of quality, reputable and standardized consultants in line with ILO’s SCORE approach. Enterprises will be able to access and choose for themselves the right consultants and appropriate methods, thereby helping businesses achieve the best results,” said Le Van Khuong, Director of TAC.
Since 2019, Viet Nam has had more than 100 experts trained under the TAC SCORE SME consultant capacity building programme.
SCORE (Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises) started its programme in Viet Nam in 2011. Since then, it has contributed to enhancing the productivity and working conditions for nearly 250 enterprises, representing more than 100,000 workers.
