    TURIN (ILO News) - On 13-16 February, a sub-regional kick-off conference for the second phase of the ILO Project “Partnerships for Youth Employment in the CIS" was held. The second phase will be implemented in 2018-2022 by ILO Moscow with financial support of the Russian company LUKOIL.

    The training builds on ILO’s experience in the promotion and implementation of youth employment strategies and programmes in disaster and conflict situations. It will provide participants with a range of notions, methods and tools to promote youth employment in crisis environments.

    Unemployment up for 3rd consecutive year, expected to drop in 2018

    ILO’s annual Labour Overview of Latin America and the Caribbean shows a continued rise in unemployment. The region presented mixed challenges, with signs of improvement in some areas and indications of deterioration in others.

  3. Monitoring the performance of the Portuguese Youth Guarantee Train-the-trainers programme

    The workshop took place in Lisbon, Portugal from 24-25 February 2016.

  4. Learning exchange programme: Social cost-benefit analysis of the Youth Guarantee

    The workshop took place in Turin from 12 to 13 July 2017. It gathered managers of the Youth Guarantee teams of Latvia, Portugal and Spain to discuss the main elements to be taken into account while conducting a social cost-benefit analysis (SCBA).
