    The ILO SafeYouth@Work project aims to promote the occupational safety and health (OSH) of young workers, with a focus on those aged 15 to 24. SafeYouth@Work operates at a national systems level to build a sustainable and prevention-focused OSH culture.

    The US Department of Labor-funded SafeYouth@Work project aims to promote the occupational safety and health (OSH) of young workers, with a focus on those aged 15 to 24.

    Youth 4 OSH: OSH for Young Workers and Young Employers in Global Supply Chains —Building a Culture of Prevention

    1 January 2017 - 31 July 2019

    The project seeks to reduce workplace injuries, fatalities, and occupational diseases through increased preventative safety actions by young workers and young employers in Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Viet Nam.

    Building the Capacity of the Philippines Labour Inspectorate

    The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) of the Philippines has undertaken initiatives to strengthen its Labour Law Compliance System (LLCS). The new LLCS promotes a culture of voluntary compliance on general labour and occupational safety and health (OSH) standards among companies, through the participation of both workers and employers in the joint assessments and implementation of corrective action plans.

    Improving Working Conditions in the Ready-Made Garment Sector in Bangladesh

    22 October 2013 - 30 June 2017

    Improving Working Conditions in the Ready-Made Garment Sector Programme In Bangladesh is an initiative of the Government of Bangladesh, implemented by International Labour Organization and funded by Canada, the Netherlands and the UK. The three-and-a-half year initiative focuses on improving RMG factory building safety, workers’ rights and overall working conditions in Bangladesh.

    Improving Labour Law Compliance and Building Sound Labour Practices in the Export Oriented Shrimp Sector in Bangladesh

    The Shrimp project is funded by the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) and aims to promote better labour law compliance with international labour standards, particularly fundamental principles and rights at work in the export-oriented shrimp sector.
