Launch of How Immigrant Contribute to Thailand's Economy in Bangkok (ECLM project)

An event was held in Bangkok on 29 November 2017 to launch the report, How Immigrants Contribute to Thailand’s Economy. The report was produced in the context of the project "Assessing the economic contribution of labour migration in developing countries as countries of destination" (ECLM). The agenda for this event can be downloaded below.

The launch event was the second event in Thailand for the EU-funded ECLM project, which is jointly implemented by the OECD Development Centre and the ILO. It follows the National Consultation Seminar held in this country in September 2015.

The launch provided an opportunity to share and discuss the findings and policy implications of the project with a focus on Thailand. It also served as a platform for policy dialogue between policy makers and representatives from academia, civil society and multilateral organisations.
