Meredith Byrne Profile

Ms Meredith Byrne has been with the Labour Migration Branch since November 2015. Prior to working with the Labour Migration Branch, Ms Byrne served as an intern with the Livelihoods Unit at UNHCR in Geneva where she helped coordinated research on the economic implications of refugee flows. Ms. Byrne has conducted her own field research on the topic in both Uganda and Cameroon. In her current position, Meredith provides technical support to the MIGRANT Branch, focusing on crisis and climate migration.

Ms Byrne graduated from the University of Oxford in 2015 with an MPhil in Development Studies. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College.
