Cyntia Sampaio

As a social worker Ms. Cyntia Sampaio has been involved with some prominent international organizations and NGOs dealing with the protection of vulnerable groups, specializing in migrants and refugee populations over the years. After some meaningful work experiences became an Erasmus Mundus Full Scholarship Awardee and obtained her Master’s Degree in Migration and Intercultural Relations in Germany. As the National Project Coordinator of the “South-South Cooperation for the Protection of the Rights of Migrant Workers in Latin America and the Caribbean Region” developed by the International Labour Organization and the Government of Brazil, Ms. Sampaio expects that her previous experiences in the fields of social dialogue, project management and international migration governance can support migrants workers of Latin America and the Caribbean region to have their rights known and respected.
