At the same time, moves toward a greener economy are creating new opportunities in technology, investments, and jobs. This video highlights the important role skills development plays in achieving a just transition to a greener economy and in building environmentally sustainable societies for all. Private sector engagement is also a key in the transition to a green economy given the size of investments required in green technologies and the skills demanded and occupations needed by enterprises.
