Practical Insights into the Combat against Trafficking for Labour Exploitation

Conference on trafficking for labour exploitation organized jointly by the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation and the Berlin Alliance project in the framework of the ESF/XENOS-Project "Berlin Alliance against Human Trafficking into Labour Exploitation"

Objectives of the Conference:

• Presentation of international expertise: international experts describe the respective country situation in their countries of origin and share their expertise from their area of work

• Comparison with Germany: Germany counterparts (in particular regional actor groups, such as NGOs, Trade Unions, Police, Justice, employers, labor inspects, public administration) describe the respective situations/ areas of work in Germany and depict possible fields of action.

• Development of possible ways of action for Germany based on the international and practice-oriented exchange of experiences.

• BBGM introduces the results/ findings of its study on labour trafficking in the Berlin-Brandenburg region to national and international experts.
