    Rapid assessment of emerging needs for workers and skills in times of the COVID-19 crisis

    The result of this study indicated that there are both employment loss and demand in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis in all sectors; however, recruitment situation is difficult as there are hard-to-fill vacancies, and skills shortages remain a problem. In addition, skills gaps still meet the challenges in labour market as employees did not perform their jobs at the required level. In response to these challenges, some courses and trainings have been delivered by employers to equip their employees with skills and to prepare to deal with possible change of work conditions due to COVID-19 crisis.
