    At its 343rd Session (November 2021), the Governing Body endorsed the Human Resources (HR) Strategy for 2022–25. The HR Strategy is aimed at ensuring a workforce of the highest standards of competence, efficiency and integrity, with due regard being given to the Action plan for improving the diversity of the ILO workforce, including in terms of gender and geographical diversity, and also addressing under-representation, experience relevant to the three constituent groups and opportunities for youth and young professionals. This document describes the progress made by the Office in 2022 in respect of the key deliverables of the HR Strategy (see the draft decision in paragraph 36)

    Mid-term review of the ILO Development Cooperation Strategy (2020–25)

    This document presents the mid-term review of the ILO Development Cooperation Strategy 2020–25 and its implementation plan. It follows up on the decision taken by the Governing Body at its 340th Session (November 2020), in which it requested the Office to undertake a mid-term review of the Strategy and its implementation plan in 2023. The review allows the Governing Body to assess progress in the four pillars of the Strategy: (i) services to constituents; (ii) partnerships for policy coherence; (iii) partnerships for funding; and (iv) efficiency, decent work results and transparency, and to guide the Office in the Strategy’s continued implementation. The Governing Body is invited to take note of the mid-term review of the Strategy and its implementation plan and to request the Director-General to consider the Governing Body’s guidance in the next phase of the Strategy’s implementation (see the draft decision in paragraph 38).

    This document provides information on the outcome of the 17th Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting, which was held in Singapore from 6 to 9 December 2022 and brought together tripartite constituents from both the Asia and the Pacific and the Arab States regions. Appendix I contains the conclusions of the Meeting, in the form of the Singapore Statement, and Appendix II contains the report of the Credentials Committee. The Governing Body is invited to request the Director-General to draw the attention of the ILO constituents to the Singapore Statement by making the text available to them, and to take the Singapore Statement into consideration when implementing current programmes and ensure its effective implementation in the context of future programme and budget proposals (see the draft decision in paragraph 13)
