Employment Strategy Seminar
The seminar focusing on three discussion sessions: (1) Viet Nam employment challenge and mainstreaming employment in the SEDS; (2) improving productive employment: raising productivity and skills in Viet Nam; and (3) institutions for promoting employment; and one squared debate on the strategy with top representatives from the institution involved in the formulation of the employment strategy.
The Seminar on Employment Strategy chaired by Mr. Joe Manuel Salazar, Executive Director of the Employment Department, ILO Headquarter in Geneva and Madame Minister of Labour Pham Thi Hai Chuyen is jointly organized by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs (MoLISA) and the ILO. Participants are high-level representatives from MoLISA, Government Office, National Assembly, line ministries, social partners and provincial DoLISAs. There are presentations from senior specialists of ILO Geneva including Azita Berar-Award, Director of the Employment Policy Department and Rie Vejs-Kjeldgaard, Decent Work Country level policies Coordinator.
