Consultation Workshop on Domestic Workers and Policy Implication

The workshop is organized by ILO Country Office for Viet Nam in cooperation with Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA). The objectives are 1) to agree on concept, classification of types of domestic workers in Viet Nam, identify scope and target groups of the new Decree; 2) to clarify characteristics of domestic workers and related issues to regulation under the Labor Code to this target group; and 3) to clarify content of decent work for domestic workers mentioned in the draft Convention attached Recommendations of ILO and clarify policy requirement for domestic workers in Viet Nam.
