    The second day of the ECOSOC Integration Segment saw a keynote speech by ILO Director-General Guy Ryder on how international labour standards should form the basis for promoting a "high road" to economic growth. The discussions also focused on the link between climate change and decent job creation, the progress made on gender equality issues since the Beijing conference 20 years ago, and how job-rich growth can lead to inclusive and sustainable development in Africa.
