    Presidents and delegates gathered in Geneva during the International Labour Conference to discuss the global jobs crisis at the largest global gathering of leaders from the world of work. Heads of State and Government called on the ILO to examine and participate in discussions to find a solution to the jobs crisis.

    Timor-Leste has ratified four conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), concerning forced labour, freedom of association and protection of the right to organize, the right to organize and collective bargaining, and the elimination of the worst forms of child labour.
