Financial implications of the extension of the duration of the ILO representative in Guatemala’s presence in the country

The Governing Body, Having decided to extend the duration of the ILO representative’s presence in Guatemala, further decided that the cost of the representative, estimated at US$872,400, would be financed from savings that might arise under Part I of the budget or, failing that, through the use of the provision for unforeseen expenditure, Part II. Should this subsequently prove impossible, the Director-General would propose alternative methods of financing at a later stage in the 2018–19 biennium.
