Commentaires et observations: | Gouv. de Guinée équatoriale (27 décembre 2023) I am the external maritime advisor to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. I am copying our Director of Maritime Registry. We were contacted in August by Taiwan PSC regarding this Vessel and have been exchanging. We have notified them that this vessel was the subject of a fraudulent registration and we reported as such to the underwriters who also reached out to our Flag administration. We also communicated with Mr Mark Kryzak and legal affairs at IMO to inform that this Vessel was never registered by us. The underwriters wrote to us with the alleged owner owner in copy and we requested further information from the Owner, informing him that the vessel was never registered with us. Such owner contacted my by whats app and although he promised to send names and details of the individuals that carried out the registration he never followed up.
I attach all the relevant correspondence and the confirmation by Taiwanese PSC that they would keep the vessel detained.
Fed. int. des ouvriers du transport (ITF) (9 avril 2024) 11 crew members have been repatriated without their wages.
