From IG P&I

We have consulted our colleagues at the Japan P&I Club (JPI) and we submit the following short update to the record on this case.
Colleagues at the JPI were contacted by the ITF in Japan on 15 November in relation to this matter. JPI then contacted the insured interest (the shipowner), who advised that the wages due were being paid by instalment, with such payment to be finished by the end of December. The insured has advised that the crew has agreed with this plan, which has been reported to the ITF in Japan, and, to date, have received no further contact from the ITF. We anticipate that outstanding payments will be made in accordance with seafarer contract. We will monitor this and revert as and when necessary.
