The government of Liberia informed that
March 21 2022 – The Liberian Administration received notification from the Master of the vessel that the crew had
not been paid for two months.
March 22, 2022- The Liberian Administration requested both the Shipowner and P&I club for their action.
March 29, 2022 – The Shipowner informed the Administration that there was a dispute between the bareboat charterer and owner; hence, the delay in wage payments.
The shipowner confirmed that legal support was being provided to the crew to claim all outstanding wages.
The P&I Club confirmed their investigation into the crew’s claim.
May 17, 2022 – The Liberian Administration received another complaint from the Master that the MGO onboard was almost out and the crew salary remained unsettled.
May 18, 2022– The Liberian Administration urged both the Shipowner and P&I of the crew’s despair and immediate need for action to assist the crew.
