Tried to contact owner but was unable to get through. Contacted seafarers. Contacted Indian Embassy in Cairo, contacted Flag State, contacted ITF Delhi Office, ITF Arab World Office, contacted NUSI and MUI, tried to contact local port authorities but to no avail. Attempts made to contact Egyptian affiliates but have not heard anything further.

This case started with a contact from a seafarer to the ITF Actions Unit. Following various attempts to contact the owners, flag State and other concerned parties, contact was lost with the seafarers, no response was ever received from the owner or flag State and the local unions were unable to find further information.
According to Equasis the Registered Owner is Viewcom Sercies, Marshall Islands, the Ship Manager is given as Al Muanna/Al Qahtani, Moroni, Comoros.
