| Circonstances: | This ship was originally abandoned in 2008. The current crew of two have been on board for 8 months without any salary and substandard accommodation and provisions. It is understood that 8-10 million USD are needed for repairs to the vessel. There is no local agent supplying the vessel since the owner stopped paying 12 months ago. In addition there are debts to the shipyard apparently amounting to USD 2 million. The Ukrainian consulate is assisting with food but not with repatriation. |
