Delayed salary payments, living conditions (bug/cockroaches’ infestation), lack of nutritious food, failure to repatriate the crew.
Several crew members have expired contracts and several crew members have formally asked in writing to be repatriated due to the situation on board. On the 25th October, two AB’s disembarked without wages.

Comments and Observations:Govt. of China (28 January 2024)
China Maritime Safety Administration has promptly organized personnel to conduct a thorough investigation into the situation of the vessel in question. Below are the findings:
1. Vessel Information:
- Vessel Name: CIMMARRON
- Vessel Type: Crude/Oil Products Tanker
- Flag State: Cameroon
- IMO Number: 9255933
- Vessel Owner: Finias Shipping Inc
2. Crew Situation Verification:
During the period from November 1, 2023, to December 3, 2023, a total of 18 crew members boarded and 23 crew members disembarked from the vessel at Zhoushan. Currently, there are 22 crew members on board, including 21 Indian nationals and 1 Pakistani national.
While at anchor, the shipowner arranged multiple provisions of food supplies onboard, and on November 30, 2023, refueled the vessel with 200 tons of heavy fuel oil and 50 tons of light fuel oil.
On December 4, 2023, the Captain of the vessel CIMMARRON provided a "Captain's Statement," affing that the crew situation onboard is normal, with no instances of wage arrears among the crew members.
Based on the above findings, it is not recommended to include the CIMMARRON vessel in the joint database for abandoned seafarers.

ITF (9 April 2024)
All crew have confirmed that they have received their outstanding wages and have been repatriated.
