1.After ITF’s communication, a PSC was carried out by Huelva Maritime Authority on Friday 11th of August. It was detected that several crew members had not been paid for months and that they had been charged for the cost of the flight tickets. During the inspection, the Captain contacted the company, the corresponding payments were made, and the crew's demands were resolved.
2. A second ITF’s communication was received indicating that the tickets provided by the company were false. PSC officer went onboard for a follow up inspection on Monday 14th to ensure the correct tickets have been issued by the Company.
3. As a result of the Company’s practices, an unexpected factor message has been reflected in THETIS as follow: MLC complaint received by Spanish Maritime Administration in Huelva. After closing the PSC inspection, Company tried not to pay repatriation flight tickets and hotel for crew member.

ITF (24 October 2023)
